 I am originially from Kenya,East Africa and have lived in Finland for quite a while.
I have a Bachelors degree in International Business Administration (BBA). I am currently studying an MSc (Master of Science) Global Human Resource Management Travelling is my favourite past time. I spend some of my time on social media and did a feature article on Helsinki Africa Film Festival 2011 for KASHA Magazine E-Zine under the name Donna A. I have been a volunteer for the Helsinki African Film Festival from 2011-2013. My roles included event coordination, MCing, Marketing B2B ,Sales. | I was born and bred in Kenya and spent most of my time in Nairobi,Kenya's capital.
Although I could be considered a 'city girl' , I had the opportunity to experience local tourism and have visited different towns In Kenya. Travelling is one of my favourite hobbies , I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. Within Europe I have been to England,Switzerland,Sweden,Greece,France and Estonia. English happens to be my first language of communication,I also speak Swahili, Finnish and basic French. Being adventurous,I do not have a fixed hobby the following activities ice skating, snowboarding, swimming in an ice hole during the winter were quite exhilarating experiences. My other interests are cooking tasting different cuisine,writing poetry,social media,listening to different genres of music, socialising with people from different cultures,attending cultural events and film festivals. I am also an alumni of AIESEC and was the VP Talent Manager for my Local Committee. |
