While in Kenya during my free time I would participate in fund raising walks and community service for the following causes:
African Medical Research foundation (AMREF) KENYA-focus on the Water fund project
Nairobi Hospice-terminal ill ilnesses'
Freedom from Hunger walk organised Nationally
Diabetes Medical Institute-Creating awareness of Diabetes
Participated in the annual Nordic Christmas Bazaar as a seller of Nordic specialities to raise money for educational purposes.
I once also catalogued the library for the Finnish-Kenya School Association.
I visited a rehabilitated street-children's home and participated in sporting activities, encouraged the children, taught them some cooking skills.
I have planted trees for environmental awareness.

eveloped a competition in order to increase online sales of film tickets by giving away two airplane tickets courtesy of Turkish Airlines. Appointed Master of Ceremony of HAFF's first street festival.
